Youthful Sophistication
Elements of sophistication and innocence are reflected in this retreat redesigned into a space for two amazing teenagers to escape from their already busy lives. As they were rapidly moving toward becoming young adults, the design concept had to relate to who they are as well as the person they were growing toward. Their unique personalities are expressed in his and hers bedrooms with a common playroom to relax or study in. The outdated bathroom was transformed into a now sophisticated and functional space featuring a wall of natural mother of pearl shell.
