Organic Mountain Retreat
A dramatically redesigned fireplace and completely remodeled kitchen took this dated mountain cabin from dark and closed to a light, contemporary organic mountain home for this family. Bold textures and natural elements were used throughout including a stone hearth of slab quartz and the live edge juniper mantel handmade by a local artisan. A unique resin panel with natural birch branches acts as a screen for the kitchen. Fresh and uplifting, comfortable and elegant, it is home to a menagerie of pets and their people.
